About Veterinary Reproduction Consultancy
Specialist Reproductive Care, Built Around You and Your Animals
Veterinary Reproduction Consultancy was founded in 2018 by Dr Jasmin Hyatt BVSc (Hons), DipACT, MANZCVS (Reproduction) — NSW/ACT’s only small animal Registered Specialist in Veterinary Reproduction. Based in Orange, NSW, VRC was built on a simple idea: that reproductive medicine deserves the undivided, specialist attention of a practice dedicated to it alone.
That philosophy shapes everything about how we work. Dr Jasmin sees one client at a time – no waiting rooms, no competing GP appointments, just a quiet, unhurried consultation focused entirely on you and your animal. She’s supported by a small, experienced and friendly team who get to know our clients and their animals over time, so every visit feels personal rather than procedural.
Canine reproduction is the heart of our practice. Dr Jasmin works closely with breeders throughout every stage of the breeding journey – from planning and fertility assessments through to whelping – bringing specialist-level expertise to a field where general practice knowledge often isn’t enough.
We also see feline, wildlife and livestock cases, and offer in-house laboratory semen analysis, including morphology, across all species.
Most consultations take place at our Orange clinic, with regular consulting days at SASH Alexandria in Sydney for complex cases requiring interdisciplinary care, and remote consultations available for veterinarians and breeders managing difficult cases elsewhere.
From breeding management and fertility investigations to semen freezing, pregnancy diagnosis and specialist referrals, every service we offer is guided by the same evidence-based approach and the same goal: the best possible outcome for the animals in our care and the people who love them.
Why Choose Veterinary Reproduction Consultancy?
When it comes to reproductive results, experience and specialisation matter. Dr Jasmin Hyatt is NSW/ACT’s only small animal Registered Specialist in Veterinary Reproduction, bringing advanced training and evidence-based knowledge to every case. At VRC, you work directly with Dr Jasmin throughout your breeding journey – a personal, one-on-one experience, supported by a small, friendly and highly experienced team who take the time to know you and your animals.
We take a welfare-conscious, calm approach to every visit, offering Transcervical Insemination as the ethical method of canine intrauterine insemination. It’s this same commitment to doing things properly that defines every service at VRC: when you want the best outcome for your animal, this is where you’ll find it.
